Job Description

As a Digital Innovation Engineer at Buckman, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing innovative digital solutions to enhance support operations and customer experience. Your responsibilities will include advanced troubleshooting of technical issues, developing automation tools, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will integrate new solutions, leverage data analytics for improvements, and document best practices for knowledge sharing. By exploring advancements in AI, automation, cloud, and analytics, you will contribute to modernizing technical support processes for improved efficiency and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: - Manage IoT Edge devices in the field and provide expert troubleshooting support. - Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in the 24x7 digital support team, addressing technical issues related to Device Provisioning. - Gather and document business requirements for data analysis projects in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Train the support team in India on device management and elevate their skills. - Collaborate with OEM suppliers and business partners to document FAQs and best practices. - Work closely with the support teams in India and the US to ensure timely resolution of support tickets and quality delivery. - Communicate support metrics to stakeholders effectively. Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics & communication engineering, or related field. - Proficiency in SQL database, networking architecture, remote desktop, VPN, and OTA updates. Desired Experience: - Minimum 5 years of experience in IoT device management, networking, and remote server management. - Experience troubleshooting devices in LoRa, ZigBee, and other wireless protocols. - Strong communication skills in English and ability to work effectively with global stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: - 5+ years of relevant experience. - Degree in engineering fields, especially computer science. - Strong inclination towards innovation and advancement of internal technologies. - Hands-on experience with open-source data analytics tools like R, Python, etc. Preferred Personality Traits: - Strong planning and organization skills for managing complex projects. - Sense of ownership and self-drive to complete tasks efficiently. - Continuous learning mindset to stay updated with skills. - Extroverted nature facilitating easy engagement with others.
