DevOps Engineer (GCP)

As a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), your role will involve managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment pipelines, and ensuring system reliability and scalability. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure on GCP - Monitor system performance, availability, and security - Manage GCP services like Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, and IAM CI/CD & Automation - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Cloud Build - Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or similar tools - Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices Containerization & Orchestration - Work with Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) for containerized applications - Manage deployments, scaling, and orchestration of services Monitoring & Security - Implement monitoring and logging using tools like Stackdriver (Cloud Monitoring) - Ensure security best practices, access controls, and compliance Collaboration - Work closely with development and QA teams to streamline release cycles - Troubleshoot production issues and provide quick resolutions **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field - 35 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering - Hands-on experience with GCP services - Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools and pipelines - Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform - Familiarity with scripting (Python, Bash, or similar) In this role, you are expected to have experience with microservices architecture, knowledge of networking and security best practices, exposure to Agile/Scrum environments, and GCP certification (preferred).
