Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Data Engineer at EDM International, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Master Data Management (MDM) data solutions to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability across the organization. Your role will involve working closely with business stakeholders, data stewards, and IT teams to develop and maintain the MDM enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop MDM solutions to support business processes and data governance, including Data Quality rules development, maintenance, and support.
- Implement data integration processes to ensure accurate and consistent master data across systems.
- Monitor and maintain the MDM environment, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve master and data quality related issues and discrepancies.
- Utilize Collibra to manage data governance, data cataloging, and data stewardship activities.
- Take ownership of the platform, including upgrades, configuration fixes, and platform health monitoring.
- Provide support for Data Quality Products like Information Steward, Information Steward Accelerator, and data migration and integration apps like BODS, Syniti ADMM, Data Catalog apps like Collibra, and data engineering and integration on GCP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in MDM implementation and management.
- Experience with MDM tools such as Informatica MDM, SAP MDG, SimpleMDG, or similar industry standards toolset.
- Strong knowledge of data integration, ETL, and Data Migration tools and techniques.
- Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Experience with data governance and data quality management, including Data Quality Rules & Master Data Management.
- Experience with GCP Data Engineering, with hands-on experience in Data modeling & warehouse, ETL/ELT Processes, Programming in SQL, GBQ.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Information Steward and Information Steward Accelerator for data quality enhancement.
- Experience with Collibra for data governance and management.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience on Analytical platforms like SAP EAP, GCP Data Lake.
