Role Overview:

You will be responsible for overseeing and leading a team of technical support staff to design, develop, test, implement, and monitor software and tools. Additionally, you will manage the implementation of divisional products, evaluate and select IT vendor products, and partner with leaders to strategize IT demand for business impact. Your role will involve end-to-end IT project planning and execution, leading the software development lifecycle, identifying and mitigating project risks, and managing vendor and third-party relationships to ensure timely deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hire, evaluate, and supervise crew, providing guidance and training as needed to develop the team.
  • Set performance standards, review performance, and make compensation decisions in accordance with HR policies.
  • Deliver software releases for business units, manage testing, evaluation, and selection of IT vendor products.
  • Develop staffing and operational plans, participate in goal development, and monitor service delivery metrics.
  • Implement changes to policies and procedures to meet business needs and department objectives.
  • Lead quality initiatives, present status and metrics at meetings, and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
  • Participate in budget development, ensure expenses are within guidelines, and lead technology solutions strategy.
  • Ensure staff compliance with IT and information security policies, and verify deliverables meet requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, manage external vendor relationships for timely project deliverables.

Qualification Required:

To qualify for this role, you must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience in IT delivery, project management, or technology leadership roles.
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Masters degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in IT project planning, SDLC methodologies, and enterprise software delivery.
  • Experience in vendor management, risk mitigation, and budget control.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and integrating security practices into IT projects.
