You will play a crucial role as a Business Analytics Associate within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) division of JPMorgan Chase & Co. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct analysis and evaluation to identify solutions to moderate to complex business problems. You will define and implement business strategy and goals through the collection, analysis, review, reporting, documentation, and communication of business needs and requirements. Additionally, you will manipulate data for quantitative analysis or research to support the business in identifying problems and solutions. Your duties may also include generating regular and special reports and recommending changes in methods or procedures to increase efficiency and productivity. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, input, and manipulate data for routine/standard business and financial analysis and reporting purposes - Conduct business process, comparative, and loan portfolio performance analysis to provide actionable business insights - Validate the accuracy of data and assist with report preparation - Help solve problems and distribute reports to internal and external audiences - Participate in the development of goals and execution of strategies within a function or department - Articulate the results of analyses in reports, presentations, and recommendations to key stakeholders - Function as a lead contributor with advanced knowledge of the area of specialization and significant exposure to broad department activities - Utilize conflict resolution, change management, influencing, project management, delegation, and coaching skills - Drive risk and control agenda within the organization - Develop knowledge of business processes, procedures, and applications - Act as a subject matter expert within your function - Manage the BI/Visualization India team (6/7 members) Qualifications Required: - 7 years of experience in business analysis, reporting, and data visualization - Excellent command of the SQL language and technical understanding of common RDBMS systems (e.g., Teradata, Oracle) - Experience with big data transformation and wrangling tools and languages such as Alteryx, Python, Trifacta, Spark, Scala, etc. - 5 years' experience in reporting and end-user business intelligence tools such as Tableau, QlikView, Business Objects, Cognos, and interface with big data and other platforms/sources - Knowledge of version control tools and processes (e.g., Subversion, Git Bitbucket) - Ability to understand business needs, diagnose performance issues, and develop recommendations through a combination of data analysis and critical thinking - Advanced PC skills in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (graphs, charts, formulas, etc.) - In-depth knowledge of consumer and wholesale banking data - Familiarity with current analytical techniques (e.g., regression, decision trees, segmentation techniques, etc.) - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Detail-oriented with the ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues Education Requirement: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline with 7 years of experience - Master's degree with 5 years of experience preferred JPMorgan Chase & Co. values diversity and inclusion in the workplace, offering equal opportunities to all employees.
