Data Management Architect

As a highly skilled and motivated GCP Data Architect at our company, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cloud-based solutions for enterprise-level clients using Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Your role will involve understanding clients' business requirements and translating them into technical solutions that meet their needs. You should have a strong understanding of cloud architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and automation, as well as a deep understanding of GCP services and tools. Key Responsibilities: - Lead technical discussions with clients to understand their business requirements and recommend appropriate cloud-based solutions. - Create technical specifications and architecture documents for GCP-based solutions. - Design and implement cloud solutions using GCP services. - Advise clients on best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues with cloud-based solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery. - Stay up to date with the latest developments in cloud technologies and GCP services. Qualifications and Certifications: Education: - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Experience: - Minimum 10 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud-based solutions using GCP. - Experience in architecting and designing solutions in areas like Infrastructure Modernization, Data Management and Analytics, Application Modernization, or DevOps. - Strong understanding of cloud architecture, including compute, networking, storage, security, and automation. - Proven experience designing and implementing data workflows using GCP services. - Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional teams. Certifications: - Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification preferred. Key Skills: Mandatory Skills: - Advanced proficiency in Python for data pipelines and automation. - Strong SQL skills for querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets. - Strong hands-on experience with GCP services. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Github, or Bitbucket. - Proficiency in Terraform, Ansible, or Google Cloud Deployment Manager for infrastructure automation. - Experience in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration. - Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow or Cloud Composer. - Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies. Nice-to-Have Skills: - Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure. - Knowledge of data visualization tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau. - Understanding of machine learning workflows and their integration with data pipelines.
