Data Engineering Technical Lead

At ADM India Hub, you will be part of a team that drives innovation and enriches quality of life by transforming crops into ingredients and solutions for various industries. **Role Overview:** As a DNA Technical Lead, your primary responsibility will be to oversee Data & Analytics projects from a technical perspective. Your role will involve leading a team in delivering data warehouse solutions for internal customers. You will need to possess strong technical expertise and leadership skills to manage multiple projects effectively. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead the technical planning and delivery of multiple projects. - Communicate effectively with both business and IT colleagues. - Provide fit-gap recommendations for designing solutions to new requirements. - Ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of projects while meeting project goals. - Work on simultaneous projects without compromising delivery timelines. - Collaborate with external teams for knowledge transfer and successful migration to ADM's environment. - Provide regular status updates for stakeholder reporting. - Mentor team members in utilizing data ingestion, ETL, data mapping, and business intelligence tools. - Collaborate across Data and Analytics functions to ensure successful delivery of enterprise data warehouse solutions. - Maintain team technical playbooks and Ways of Working. - Load data into data structures using various tools such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Qlik Replicate, and Qlik Compose. - Collaborate with reporting architects, data modelers, and designers to deliver top-notch data and reporting solutions. - Proactively address project requirements and communicate challenges to reduce project delivery risks. **Qualification Required:** - Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, Science, Engineering, Statistics, Programming, Business Analytics, Mathematical, or related field. - Minimum 9 years of technology work experience. - Extensive hands-on technical experience in Enterprise BI and Analytics, implementing data warehouse and data marts in an Agile environment. - Proficiency in data and analytics architecture, dimensional modeling, data warehousing concepts, and data integration best practices. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure Databricks, SAP Datasphere, SSIS, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Qlik Replicate, and Power BI. - Familiarity with ERP data models and data architectures (SAP and JDE preferred) for data extraction. - Experience in full Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, SQL, ETL, and ELT approaches. - Understanding of complex business source systems and iterative development methodologies like Agile, KanBan, DevOps. - Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, Hive, or equivalent is a plus. - Familiarity with Python ML libraries like Scikit-learn/PyTorch or Azure ML is advantageous. - Experience in DevOps/CICD framework and metadata management using Information Steward is beneficial. - Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work independently and within a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership. - Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities with high accountability. - Professional demeanor and technical leadership skills to ensure on-time, on-cost, and quality project delivery.
