Job Description

As a Data Analyst / Data Engineer at Seven Seas Strategies (SSS), a data consulting firm specializing in modern data infrastructure and automation for operating businesses, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks related to healthcare operations and SaaS analytics. Here is a breakdown of your key responsibilities and qualifications required for this role: Role Overview: - You will be part of a lean, high-ownership team, working across the full data stack from day one. - Your primary focus will be on building operational data pipelines, dashboards, and workflow automation for a multi-site healthcare operations company. - This role combines data engineering, analytics, and reporting to support both operational data systems and software product analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Build ETL pipelines to move data from APIs and source systems into cloud warehouses. - Manage scheduled pipelines on Google Cloud, specifically BigQuery, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage. - Ensure data quality and reliability across reporting systems. - Develop dashboards using Looker Studio or Power BI. - Define and track operational KPIs for healthcare operations and software platforms. - Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting. - Build and maintain SSRS reports for pathology laboratories using the clients LIS platform. - Write SQL queries and stored procedures to support reporting logic. - Understand the LIS database schema and troubleshoot reporting support tickets. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Python and SQL. - Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift. - Dashboard development skills using Looker Studio, Power BI, or Tableau. - Strong Excel / Google Sheets proficiency. - Experience with SSRS or SQL-based reporting. - Exposure to Google Cloud Platform. - Familiarity with healthcare data systems like EHR / LIS. - Experience with no-code tools like AppSheet or Retool. In addition to the outlined responsibilities and qualifications, this fully remote role offers flexible hours across US and India timezones, exposure to real-world US healthcare analytics projects, and the opportunity to grow into a Senior Data Engineer or Analytics Lead within the organization.
