Data Engineer (Snowflake Technology)

As a Data Engineer at Quation Solution, you will be responsible for implementing ETL, automation, modeling, and handling large datasets in collaboration with data architects, business SMEs, and technical developers. Your primary tools will be Talend and Snowflake, and you will reverse engineer Alteryx workflows while following Data Vault modeling principles. Key responsibilities: - Breakdown requirements, understand logical data models, and deliver robust data pipelines (ETL) to specifications - Extract data from APIs (REST, SOAP, etc) with a sound understanding of pagination techniques - Own development artifacts and adhere to established development, test, and deployment principles and processes - Ensure the build aligns with the stated design and specifications - Document, communicate, update, and manage all development, flows, and designs appropriately What we're looking for: - An experienced Data Engineer with strong implementation experience in Snowflake technology - Proficiency in modern cloud-based data architecture (Talend/Snowflake including SQL) - Experience in Snowflake data warehousing projects - Expertise in ETL and scheduling tools, such as Talend or similar (e.g. DBT) - Understanding of Alteryx Workflows and ability to recreate them using Talend components - Recommended Python experience - Exposure to AWS S3/Lambda/Glue/Dev-Ops and CICD pipelines - Ability to work and deploy in large delivery teams - Self-driven with a focus on continuous improvement in delivery - Knowledge of the Data Mesh framework and associated concepts will be a plus - Optional: Experience in Digital Media and Marketing Services Join Quation Solution as a Data Engineer and be part of a dynamic team that values expertise and innovation in handling data engineering tasks efficiently.
