Key Responsibilities: - Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and desired functionality for the data product, translating these requirements into clear data modeling specifications. - Design and implement high-quality data models that optimize data access, storage, and analysis while ensuring alignment with BCDM. - Create comprehensive and well-maintained documentation of data models, including entity relationship diagrams, data dictionaries, and usage guidelines. - Collaborate with data engineers to test and validate data models and obtain sign-off from key stakeholders on logical and physical data models. - Continuously monitor and optimize the performance of models and data solutions to ensure efficient data retrieval and processing. - Collaborate with data engineers to translate logical data models into physical data models throughout the development lifecycle. - Manage the 'BAU' data model and solution covering enhancements and changes. - Assist in defining the legacy estate migration and decommissioning roadmap for the assigned BUK data domain.
