Data Analytics Developer (Senior)

As a Senior Data Analytics Developer at our innovative and growing IT sector client, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the team on various tasks to ensure the success of Data Analytics team solutions: - Collaborate with the team in the design, development, testing, and deployment of all required application components for the Data Analytics team solutions. - Collect information from products and process that data in the cloud to create business intelligence. - Work on APIs and frameworks to expose data for visualization and study. - Collaborate with the UX design team on the design/implementation of the visual representation of data. - Participate in the review of product requirements, designs, code, and supporting documentation together with our other global development teams. - Participate in the selection of tools and services to augment BlueCielo solutions. - Assist in Support, Training, and Documentation when required. - Independently propose and action on the identified opportunities in process automation of data analytical workflows. - Test and provide QA on the proposed solution. To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, computer science, or comparable post-graduation experience. - Experience displaying data using web technologies (JSON, HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Data Viz packages like D3 are a plus but not required). - Implementation of reporting/analytic applications in a multi-terabyte Teradata / Vertica data warehouse. - Good knowledge of Teradata Explain and Visual Explain to analyze and improve query performance. - Solid Core Java experience. - Knowledge of UI technologies (HTML5, Javascript, Angular JS). - Knowledge of testing tools and techniques. - Maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors. - Experience with data modeling in data discovery tools. - Accountable to execute statistical methods, database creation, and ETL applications (including Tableau or Microstrategy visualizations and JAVA development).
