Role Overview:

As a Lead Engineer at Deutsche Bank's Corporate Bank in Pune, you will play a key role in driving engineering practices, transformation, and modernization of applications. Your expertise will be critical in identifying impediments, supporting engineering teams, and aligning them with the Target State engineering practices. You will be responsible for influencing the engineering community to deliver solutions in compliance with the Architecture Blue Print and the Bank's Target State Architecture. Your hands-on approach will involve defining and driving engineering practices, identifying areas for modernization, and supporting teams in modernizing their tech stack with the introduction of microservices, APIs, event-driven design, and cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote the target state architecture across the engineering community and stakeholders
• Conduct deep-dive reviews of technical solution designs and ensure compliance with strategy and architecture standards
• Guide development teams in adopting modern design patterns and technologies for scalable systems
• Design technical solutions for complex business problems
• Create engineering practices guidelines and modernization plans
• Identify legacy technologies for decommissioning and provide insights for management
• Identify tools for engineering automation and support teams in their automation work
• Support teams in their journey to Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams

Qualifications Required:

• 20 years of relevant IT experience in development, architecture, and POCs
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent certification
• Strong engineering, solution, and domain architecture background
• Experience in designing solutions in public cloud platforms
• Knowledge of modern architecture design patterns and SDLC practices
• Proficiency in CICD tools and Java ecosystem
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
