Job Description
As a Data Analyst within the Financial Wellbeing Modelling squad at ANZ, your role is crucial in building predictive models to measure Customer Financial Wellbeing. Your main responsibility will be to understand retail data and customer landscape and conduct hands-on analytical work to measure financial wellbeing. This will involve generating quality customer insights, managing information, identifying trends, and enabling data-driven decisions and customer outcomes. You will collaborate with data scientists, Data Engineers, and the broader Data community to develop customer-centric solutions and communicate insights through impactful data visualization and storytelling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Address and solve complex business issues using large amounts of data
- Define and deliver the Tribedata roadmap
- Implement a fact-based culture throughout the bank
- Generate, monitor, present, and analyze relevant customer insights for the development and improvement of propositions
- Perform data analysis within different Tribes to support individual missions of Squads
- Develop tools and methods to fully profile customers and customer segments
- Support key data platform and data scheduling jobs for insights delivery
- Contribute to the development of well-governed, shared, and reusable data assets
Qualifications Required:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good understanding of concepts in applied probability and statistics
- 5 to 8 years of experience with analysis tools and techniques (e.g. SAS, SQL, Tableau, VBA, QlikSense)
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset
- Strong data visualization skills
- Effective communication to all stakeholders (technical and non-technical)
