Job Description

As a Lead in the Offensive Security Department at the Security Assurance Team, your role involves planning, coordinating, and executing periodic offensive security testing. This includes conducting Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, WiFi Security Testing, Network Segmentation Testing, PCI-DSS ASV Scan, Active Directory Security Audits, and Red Teaming exercises. Additionally, you will be responsible for performing cloud security assessments on AWS & Azure, identifying misconfigurations, security gaps, and architectural flaws. You will also conduct CVE analysis, prioritize risks, and track remediation activities to ensure timely execution of security testing, risk mitigation, and alignment with compliance programs. Your qualifications should include a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in offensive security roles. Relevant certifications such as CEH, ECSA, CHFI, or equivalent cybersecurity credentials are highly recommended. You should have a solid understanding of penetration testing, vulnerability management, patching practices, and advanced threat mitigation strategies. Proficiency with IT security tools and platforms, including Anti-malware, Firewalls, IPS, DLP, Web proxies, Email Security, Cloud Security (AWS & Azure), Privileged Access Management, and IAM is essential. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards like OWASP, NIST 800-64, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, and GDPR is also required. Your role will involve collaborating with development, DevOps, and IT teams to remediate vulnerabilities and implement security best practices. You will be responsible for generating comprehensive reports detailing findings, remediation recommendations, and status tracking. Additionally, you will lead meetings with asset owners to explain vulnerabilities, recommend solutions, and promote security awareness. Your excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills will be crucial in this role. Strong organizational, time management, and teamwork capabilities are also essential for success in this position.
