As a cybersecurity engineer at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing cybersecurity solutions to address unique security challenges in critical infrastructure and industrial businesses. Your responsibilities will include providing on-site cybersecurity services for Honeywell customers in various markets such as Oil and Gas, Power Generation, and Life Sciences. Your key responsibilities will include: - Acting independently on assigned projects to ensure timely delivery within budget and to customer satisfaction. - Staying technically current with cybersecurity solutions and expanding knowledge in designated network disciplines. - Maintaining relevant cybersecurity and network certifications such as CCNA or Security+. - Learning current industry security standards like IEC-62443 and ISO 27000. - Building strong relationships with internal and external customers by providing accurate and efficient technical support. - Diagnosing problems and providing timely technical solutions in response to customer inquiries. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer-related fields or equivalent experience. - 3+ years of experience in networking, endpoint security, and IT security audits/assessments. - Cisco Certified Network/Design/Security Associate. - Fundamental Cybersecurity Certification such as Security+, GSEC, or SSCP. - Experience in Network Security including Firewalls, IDS, IPS, SIEM. - Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, and Terminal Server. - Excellent written and oral communication skills. - Willingness to travel 30-65%. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: - Experience in Operational Technology (OT). - VMWare Certified Associate (VCA). - Proficiency in cybersecurity vulnerability or risk assessment. - Knowledge of networking protocols and cybersecurity best practices. - Ability to work independently and excellent troubleshooting skills.
