Job Description

In this role, your primary responsibility will be to manage relationships with assigned contractor partners, acting as the main point of contact between the organization and contractors. You will establish and maintain collaborative working relationships with contractor leadership and operational teams. Additionally, you will conduct structured business reviews, operational check-ins, and joint planning sessions. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor contractor performance against KPIs, SLAs, and agreed targets in areas such as safety, quality, cost, delivery, and innovation. - Identify and address performance risks, delivery challenges, or non-conformance issues. - Implement improvement initiatives and corrective actions as needed to ensure balanced performance recovery. - Act as a point of escalation for critical performance issues with contractors and escalate to the appropriate levels when necessary. Your role will also involve overseeing commercial and contract aspects, including ensuring adherence to contractual terms, governance of rates, claims, variations, and invoicing. You will support contract renewal planning, strategic renegotiations, and structured contract exits when required. Furthermore, you will be responsible for ensuring full contractor compliance with company policies, legal and regulatory obligations, and safety standards. You will drive audit readiness and facilitate onboarding, HSE induction, and assurance activities. Collaboration with internal team members from various departments (Ops, Engineering, HSE, Finance, Legal) will be essential to ensure contractor results align with company objectives. You will need to communicate delivery risks, improvement opportunities, or contractual concerns effectively. Your strategic contributions will involve shaping contractor planning and execution to align with business outcomes and long-term reliability goals. You will identify and promote opportunities for innovation, value creation, and cost optimization across the contractor portfolio. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering - Contract management or procurement certifications (e.g., CIPS, IACCM) Experience and Skills Required: - 7 years of demonstrated ability in contractor management, vendor oversight, or project delivery environments - Strong understanding of contract structures, commercial frameworks, and negotiation levers - Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication capabilities - Analytical approach to interpreting contractor performance metrics, KPIs, and contractual data - Proactive problem-solving skills with a track record of anticipating risks and driving timely resolution - Understanding of compliance frameworks and safety standards in industrial sectors like oil & gas, manufacturing, or construction - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SharePoint In this role, your primary responsibility will be to manage relationships with assigned contractor partners, acting as the main point of contact between the organization and contractors.
