As a highly skilled Staff Engineer specializing in Computer Vision and Machine Learning, you will be an integral part of our R&D team, focusing on developing cutting-edge technologies for next-generation healthcare products. Your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing computer vision and machine learning algorithms for real-world applications. You will work on image processing, object detection, segmentation, and tracking problems, using C++ and Python to create efficient and scalable solutions. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring junior engineers to drive technical excellence will be key aspects of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize computer vision and machine learning algorithms for real-world applications.
- Work on image processing, object detection, segmentation, and tracking problems.
- Develop efficient, scalable solutions using C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, hardware, and clinical experts.
- Optimize algorithms for performance, accuracy, and real-time deployment.
- Contribute to system design, architecture, and code quality.
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical excellence.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 811 years of experience in Computer Vision / Machine Learning.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python (C# is a plus).
- Hands-on experience with OpenCV and image processing techniques.
- Solid understanding of Machine Learning / Deep Learning concepts.
- Experience with 3D geometry, linear algebra, and mathematical modeling.
- Familiarity with frameworks like PyTorch / TensorFlow.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Good to Have:
- Experience in medical imaging or regulated domains.
- Knowledge of embedded systems / real-time systems.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Understanding of software development lifecycle in regulated environments.
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field (full-time/regular).
