Computer Vision - Internship

About the internship: You will be part of a dynamic team working on an enterprise-grade business management software application with multiple sub-applications and functionalities. Your role as a Computer Vision & AI Engineer Intern will involve supporting the development of AI-powered verification and fraud detection systems, enhancing computer vision models, collaborating with engineers, exploring image processing techniques, developing OCR pipelines, preparing and curating image datasets, documenting experiments and technical findings. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development of AI-powered verification and fraud detection systems. - Enhance computer vision models for forgery and fraud analysis. - Collaborate with engineers to debug and optimize performance. - Explore image processing techniques, including noise reduction, blur handling, and frequency-domain analysis. - Develop Optical Character Recognition (OCR) pipelines, including tools like PaddleOCR for document text extraction. - Prepare, clean, and curate real-world image datasets. - Document experiments, results, and technical findings. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Python, OpenCV, and YOLOv8. - Basic knowledge of PyTorch/TensorFlow and CNNs. - Good knowledge of REST API and FastAPI. - Exposure to OCR, document processing, or facial analysis. - Currently pursuing a bachelors or masters degree in AI & Machine Learning, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields. - Passionate about AI, computer vision, and solving real-world problems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Knowledge of image forensics and fraud detection is beneficial. - Comfortable working with noisy, imperfect datasets. - Good communication and teamwork skills.
