Job Description
As a Communications Specialist at our company, you will lead communications and content development for global talent attraction and engagement initiatives. This involves creating internal and external communications, talent marketing campaigns, award nominations, and managing SharePoint content. You will collaborate closely with Talent Acquisition, Business HR, Marketing, and business leaders to establish effective communication strategies that enhance our employer brand and talent pipeline. Ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand-aligned messaging is essential across all channels and formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, create, and deliver communication for employees, leaders, candidates, and external audiences.
- Develop content for newsletters, announcements, recruitment campaigns, event promotions, and award nominations.
- Write various forms of content such as social media and digital campaign copy, blogs, articles, website content, email communications, advertisements, video scripts, talking points, and leader presentations.
- Produce communications adhering to global brand standards and narrative.
- Utilize a mix of digital, social, internal, and external channels to engage targeted audiences.
- Stay informed about IT services industry trends and business priorities to create relevant content.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Journalism, Marketing Communications, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in content writing, content strategy, marketing communications, internal communications, public relations, or recruitment marketing.
- Proven experience in the IT services industry.
- Strong relationship-building skills across global and cross-cultural environments.
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
- Proficiency with SharePoint, marketing automation tools, ATS platforms, and communication systems.
- Demonstrated success in managing time-critical projects and advising senior leaders.
- Experience collaborating with internal teams, contractors, and external agencies.
Additionally, the role involves creative and business content writing, content and editorial management, executive communications, internal & external communications strategy, brand compliance and communication governance, cultural awareness, and the ability to tailor content for varied markets. Strong project management and organizational skills are also required.
