As a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Data Architect, your role will involve designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based data solutions. You will lead the architecture and strategy for cloud data platforms, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Architect and Design: Develop end-to-end cloud data architecture including data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data pipelines. - Cloud Strategy: Define and implement cloud data strategies across platforms such as AWS and Snowflake. - Data Governance: Ensure data quality, security, compliance, and governance standards are met. - Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data scientists, and application teams to understand data needs and deliver solutions. - Innovation: Evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to improve data architecture and analytics capabilities. - Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize data systems for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. - 8+ years of experience in data architecture, with at least 3 years in a cloud environment. - Expertise in one or more cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Snowflake). - 8+ years of development experience with ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, AWS Glue / Lambda, DMS, and AWS Managed Services. - 8+ years of development experience using SQL or PL/SQL. - Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Kafka, Databricks). - Proficiency in SQL, Python, and cloud-native data services (e.g., Snowflake, Oracle, Redshift, Big Query, Synapse). - Experience with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA). - Excellent communication and leadership skills. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
