CIB Data Management Analyst

Role Overview: You will be actively contributing to the firms efforts in growing the business, reducing costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance related to Party Reference Data. Your main objectives will include explaining the path that critical data follows, improving data quality, reducing ambiguity and inconsistent terminology, enhancing transparency, rationalizing the number of replicated data assets, and improving firm-wide sharing of information and best practices. It is essential to understand that Party Reference Data is a firm-wide function supporting all lines of business, managing party data throughout its lifecycle from onboarding to disposition. Reference data is crucial as it connects parties to contracts, accounts, and transactions. You will be part of a multi-year journey to transform the way party reference data is captured, structured, and stored, aiming to improve the client experience, simplify operations, and enhance analytical capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Facilitate Daily Production issue call with Reference Data Technology and provide updates to end users. - Listen effectively to issues, assess the underlying client need, and provide timely and accurate resolutions. - Collaborate with various teams to analyze and resolve functional, data, and technical issues raised by stakeholders. - Act as a primary point of contact for end users/stakeholders across multiple platforms for data and functionality enquiries. - Perform end-to-end testing across multiple environments on various applications for product enhancements, production fixes, data integrity, platform conversions, and regulatory reporting. - Identify test objectives, set up test plans and steps, perform exhaustive testing, raise defects, and ensure timely defect resolution. - Conduct demo/showcases to end users, triage meetings with stakeholders, and ensure UAT sign-offs within stipulated timelines. - Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and knowledge sharing sessions with internal teams on monthly releases. - Support release management production checkout activities and publish daily status reports with KPIs to senior management and development teams. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience in a financial services organization. - Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. - Prior experience in manual functional testing is required. - Experience with tools like JIRA, MS Excel, MS SharePoint, Business Objects, and SQL is preferred. - Knowledge of automating testing leveraging Selenium web driver with Java is a plus. - Understanding of the Agile framework and Project Lifecycle standards. - Solid analytical, communication, and presentation skills. - Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - Ability to work independently, in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and as a team player adaptable to changing environments. - Experience and knowledge of reference data is a plus.
