Job Description
As an Engineering professional with strong project management expertise, you will be responsible for ensuring safety compliance during the execution and completion of all engineering projects. Your key job responsibilities will include:
- Leading the construction and commissioning of the new Emulsions Plant in India.
- Supporting global production sites and business teams with preparation, approval, and execution of CAPEX projects (Local Governance Projects).
- Managing selected strategic global Projects under Global Governance.
- Establishing, developing, and overseeing the PT Engineering Back Office in India.
- Setting up an Asia Sourcing Center for CAPEX and MRO procurement.
- Driving end-to-end project execution across engineering, procurement, and global stakeholder groups.
- Collaborating effectively with Engineering Back Office team and Procurement teams across global locations.
- Ensuring engineering excellence, cost optimization, safety compliance, and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications required for this role are:
- Bachelors or masters degree in chemical or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience managing CAPEX projects within the chemical industry.
- Proven expertise in chemical engineering processes, equipment, plant construction, process safety analysis, project costing, project planning, and project team leadership.
- Robust communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Lean Six Sigma training, education, or experience will be positively considered.
