- Lead key projects for ultra-low latency execution systems, from initial design through to kernel-level production deployment on Linux.
- Collaborate with quant researchers to translate complex alpha signals into robust, high-speed algorithmic trading code.
- Deep proficiency in modern C++ (17/20) and low-level system programming, with a focus on performance-critical application development.
- Expertise in network programming (TCP/IP, UDP) and kernel-bypass technologies like Sockets Direct Protocol for market connectivity.
- Command of multithreading, concurrency, and lock-free data structures to ensure maximum system throughput and efficiency.
- Experience with data processing pipelines and Big Data frameworks for integrating machine learning outputs for execution.
Qualifications Required:
- An advanced degree (M.S. or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a highly quantitative, related field is mandatory.
- Relevant professional qualifications or a history of contributing to open-source libraries focused on performance computing are a distinct advantage.
- Prior publication or research focus in areas like distributed systems, network architecture, or high-performance computing is highly valued.
