Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst at Priceline, you will play a crucial role in deriving insights from various data sources and creating data visualizations through dashboards. Your primary responsibility will involve collecting, analyzing, and sharing data with members of the Finance Operations team. Here's what you can expect in this role: Key Responsibilities: - Provide insights into Transactional fulfillment and declines to identify opportunities for converting declines into orders by collaborating with fintech and product team members. - Analyze Credit card downgrades and work with fintech to resolve issues, ultimately reducing the cost of payments. - Develop KPIs and dashboards to measure and report progress on payment reconciliation and other Strategic Finance Initiatives. - Foster a collaborative and agile mindset to drive efficient use of technology and data for business value. - Collaborate with Fintech and Product teams to enhance the efficiency and profitability of Travel Transactions. - Analyze and document complex business processes. - Think analytically and proactively solve problems. - Interpret relevant data and information. - Integrate high-quality data sources to enable precise, near "real-time" decision-making on inbound customer transactions. - Select, prioritize, and drive projects to enhance the capabilities of the payments processes. Qualifications Required: - Must be organized, positive, proactive, results-oriented, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - 4+ years of data analysis experience. - Strong proficiency in SQL (Oracle), Essbase, and Hyperion or similar EPM tools. - Proven analytical ability and strong proficiency in Excel and/or Tableau. - Bachelors degree in math, economics, computer sciences, quantitative field, or related discipline. - Passion for innovation and excellence.
