Job Description

As a Project Manager at Thomson Reuters, your role is crucial in ensuring project delivery aligns with the management-approved roadmap. You will coordinate with all stakeholders, keep them informed of the latest updates, and provide guidance to the team as required. Your responsibilities include defining project scope, goals, and deliverables, creating detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets. You will build, motivate, and guide project teams, assign tasks, ensure performance, oversee daily project activities, track progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Additionally, you will identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, resolve issues, work on Third party tools and tax software, manage updating the SurePrep system, troubleshoot issues, and provide status updates to the management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and create detailed project plans
  • Build, motivate, and guide project teams, assigning tasks and ensuring performance
  • Oversee daily project activities, track progress, manage resources, and ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve issues
  • Work on Third party tools and tax software
  • Manage updating the SurePrep system and troubleshoot issues
  • Provide status updates to the management
  • Build an AIfirst mindset to streamline operations and reduce manual tasks

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field
  • Experience in tax software integration and application development is preferred
  • Familiarity with US tax laws and regulations is an advantage
  • 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong knowledge of third-party tools, tax software, Microsoft SQL, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
