Associate - Merchant Risk & Automation

You will be joining our Merchant Risk team as a systematic and analytical professional. Your role will involve conducting end-to-end risk evaluations, including tasks such as KYC validation, fraud detection, and ensuring regulatory adherence. Simultaneously, you will be responsible for driving technical process enhancements. Collaboration with Risk, Operations, and Product departments will be key as you work on engineering automated solutions, intelligent dashboards, and decision-support systems to scale our risk management capabilities. - Develop APIs, monitoring tools, and automated workflows in collaboration with Product and Technology teams to streamline risk operations. - Implement real-time tracking systems to enhance internal controls and regulatory oversight. - Conduct comprehensive merchant risk assessments, which involve tasks like KYC checks, profile audits, and operational analysis. - Monitor transactions to identify fraud markers, such as velocity spikes or brand impersonation, and analyze data for detecting unauthorized network entity setups. - Ensure platform and regulatory compliance by reviewing merchant behavior against declared business cases. - Manage and escalate high-risk cases that require immediate disablement or enhanced due diligence. You should have: - Bachelors degree in Engineering (Computer Science, IT, AI, or related fields) - Proficiency in programming fundamentals in Java/JavaScript - Working knowledge of Python and SQL for data handling and automation - Understanding of data structures, system design basics, and APIs - Strong problem-solving and logical thinking skills - Interest in AI/ML/LLM applications in real-world operational systems You will be joining our Merchant Risk team as a systematic and analytical professional.
