Job Description

As a Procurement Manager in our company, your role will involve Supplier and Contract Management where you will be responsible for: - Identifying, evaluating, and managing high-impact suppliers to ensure strong partnerships, consistent quality, and on-time delivery for complex engineering and capital projects. - Leading end-to-end contract negotiations, covering commercial terms, pricing structures, service-level agreements, and risk-mitigation provisions. - Establishing and maintaining supplier-risk management frameworks, including contingency planning, performance monitoring, and proactive mitigation strategies. - Providing contractual support in collaboration with legal and procurement teams to ensure contracts are developed, reviewed, and executed in alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements. In addition to Supplier and Contract Management, you will be involved in Project Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement where you will: - Partner closely with engineering, project management, finance, and legal teams to align procurement activities with project timelines, budget constraints, and compliance standards. - Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on procurement-related matters, including emerging trends, risk exposure, cost-reduction opportunities, and long-term value creation. Your responsibilities will also include Cost Control and Financial Performance by: - Driving measurable cost savings and value enhancement through strategic sourcing, supplier optimization, and process improvements. - Overseeing procurement-related budgets, ensuring accurate tracking, forecasting, and reporting of financial performance. - Applying analytics and data-driven insights to refine procurement strategies, monitor KPIs, and support executive reporting. Moreover, you will be expected to focus on Sustainability and Compliance by: - Championing ethical, sustainable, and socially responsible sourcing practices that align with the organization's ESG objectives. - Ensuring full compliance with relevant legal, regulatory, and internal governance requirements across all procurement activities. As a successful candidate, you should possess the following Qualifications and Core Competencies: - Exceptional negotiation and relationship-management skills, with proven experience handling complex supplier ecosystems and high-value contracts. - Strong analytical and financial acumen with a demonstrated ability to deliver cost savings and maximize value. - Proficiency with digital procurement platforms and emerging technologies, including AI/ML-enabled tools; hands-on experience with systems such as GEP SMART, SAP Ariba, Coupa, SAP, and S/4HANA. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels. - Deep understanding of engineering, capital project lifecycles, and technical procurement requirements. - Solid knowledge of contract management processes, regulatory compliance, and commercial governance. - Familiarity with sustainability-driven sourcing practices and ESG frameworks. - Experience leading change-management initiatives and continuous-improvement programs.
