Job Description
As an Associate Director of Web Platforms at Novartis, your role will involve leading and managing digital marketing platforms for international, region, and countries (IRC) to support and drive commercial activities. You will be responsible for enabling and operationalizing web platforms, social listening, sentiment analysis, and mobile platforms to enhance customer engagement and commercial processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Implementing platform capabilities, governance, operations, and work planning.
- Overseeing the orchestration of digital platform solutions to drive customer engagements.
- Monitoring efficiencies of digital marketing platforms and measuring impacts on business operations.
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into tactical executions across the digital marketing ecosystem.
- Collaborating with country teams to customize digital marketing platforms for local needs while maintaining standardization for scalability.
- Working with ethical, legal, and compliance teams to ensure governance, risk minimization, and compliance in platform usage.
- Planning and managing budgets, resources, timelines, and change management for solutions lifecycles.
- Staying updated on industry best practices for marketing platforms.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduate degree (ideally MSc/PhD) in a quantitative field such as IT, Marketing Analytics, AI, Data Science, etc.
- 10+ years of experience in technology, data, analytics, IT, or similar roles.
- 5+ years of experience in Marketing Infrastructure, Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare analytics.
- Strong understanding of pharma value chain commercialization process and marketing/sales analytics.
- Experience with Agile ways of working.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Hands-on and leadership experience in data, tech, and analytics environments.
- Experience in deploying commercial platforms with big data architectures.
- Ability to conduct various digital platforms on pharma commercial data independently.
