Role Overview:
As an Associate/Analyst in Brand Analytics, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex brand data into actionable insights that drive commercial growth and improve patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will involve partnering with internal stakeholders to develop analytical approaches that inform brand strategies, resource allocation decisions, and customer engagement initiatives. By leveraging your expertise in analytics and data storytelling, you will contribute to accelerating decision-making processes and enhancing the competitive advantage of the company's brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Insight Leadership: Develop a profound understanding of internal customers' data and analytical requirements, focusing on leading customer-facing model leadership to translate critical questions into analytical approaches that clarify brand choices and trade-offs.
- Analytical Capability Building: Identify and prioritize enhancements and new analytic capabilities, taking the lead in developing, deploying, and embedding these capabilities across the organization to scale impact and ensure consistency.
- Continuous Improvement: Foster a test-and-learn mindset by continuously assessing new quantitative analysis methods and technologies, piloting, validating, and industrializing effective approaches.
- Innovative Practices for Advantage: Create innovative analytical practices that deliver and sustain a competitive advantage in brand performance and customer engagement.
- Data Access and Integration: Access and integrate relevant information from various sources and tools, demonstrating a strong understanding of integration points across teams, data sets, and workflows to deliver cohesive insights.
- Data Storytelling and Influence: Summarize complex data through compelling storytelling, convert raw metrics into actionable insights, and advocate for the use of local customer insight in strategic and resourcing decisions.
- External Scanning: Monitor the external environment for leading analytic capabilities within and beyond the pharma industry, translating them into practical applications to elevate the company's brands.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Statistics, Applied Math, Computer Science, or Data Science. Advanced degree preferred (Masters, MBA, or PhD).
- 2+ years of experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Healthcare commercial analytics or secondary data analysis.
- Proficiency in advanced methods and statistical procedures on large and disparate datasets, including data mining, predictive modeling, machine learning algorithms, optimization, simulation, statistical analysis and modeling, and more.
- Recent experience and proficiency with SQL, Python, and big data technology (AWS, Hadoop, Snowflake), as well as data visualization or BI tools such as MicroStrategy, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlikview, D3js, or similar.
- Experience with IQVIA and specialty pharmacy data sets, familiarity with manipulating and extracting insights from large longitudinal data sources, and expertise in statistical analysis and modeling.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, quick learner, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to generate actionable insights for the business.
- Exposure to Databricks and AI implementation, or any GenAI applications.
