Job Description
As a Process Excellence Assistant Manager (Lean Six Sigma), your role will involve driving enterprise-wide process improvement initiatives by deploying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies across operations and support functions. Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading end-to-end Lean Six Sigma (DMAIC / DMADV) projects across business units.
- Identifying process gaps, improvement opportunities, and risk areas through data-driven analysis.
- Driving measurable improvements in productivity, cost optimization, quality, and SLA adherence.
- Mentoring and reviewing Yellow Belt and Green Belt projects to ensure successful completion.
- Tracking project benefits realization, savings validation, and sustainability plans.
- Developing and maintaining project dashboards, MIS, and management control systems.
- Conducting Lean Six Sigma training sessions and awareness programs.
- Building internal capability and a quality-focused mindset across teams.
- Supporting the development of training materials, case studies, and best practice repositories.
- Providing inputs for the organizational Quality Plan, including risk and opportunity identification.
- Establishing metrics frameworks and performance monitoring systems.
- Supporting audit and compliance-related quality initiatives.
- Presenting project updates and business impact reports to senior leadership.
In addition to the key responsibilities mentioned, you are expected to have:
- 610 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in Lean / Six Sigma project execution.
- Experience managing process improvement initiatives across operations or support functions.
- Exposure to mentoring Yellow Belt and Green Belt projects.
- Proven experience in a Process Excellence / Continuous Improvement role with measurable project outcomes.
- Project Management certification or experience (Preferred / Added advantage)
Your successful completion of Lean/Six Sigma projects with validated financial impact, improvement in operational KPIs such as productivity, cost efficiency, TAT, and quality metrics, implementation of structured MIS and process control mechanisms, and deployment of best practices across multiple processes and functions will be crucial to the role.
