Assistant IT Manager

Role Overview: You are being hired as an IT Head for the Media Industry. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee multiple on-premise software development projects across various technologies like .NET, Node.js, Flutter mobile applications, and legacy VB systems. This role requires strong technical expertise, project management skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Project Management - Lead end-to-end project planning, execution, delivery, and maintenance for multiple on-premise systems. - Manage development projects using .NET, Node.js, Flutter, and VB legacy applications. - Create project roadmaps, schedules, and resource plans. - Track project progress and ensure timely delivery within quality standards. - Identify risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. - Team Leadership - Manage a multi-disciplinary team of developers, testers, and support engineers. - Assign tasks based on skills, availability, and project needs. - Conduct sprint planning, stand-up meetings, and periodic reviews. - Mentor team members and support skill development. - Technical Oversight - Strong understanding of application development in .NET (Core & Framework), Node.js, Flutter, and VB/VB6 legacy systems. - Oversee integration, workflows, and system architecture. - Review technical designs and provide guidance on best practices. - Optional but beneficial: Assist with coding, debugging, and prototyping when needed. - Requirement Gathering & Coordination - Collect requirements from various departments and translate them into actionable technical tasks. - Communicate project updates, progress, and issues to management and stakeholders. - Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Additional Details: The company is VAS India Consulting, and they are offering a salary of up to 9.6 Lakhs per annum for this position. The work location is in person.
