Job Description
Role Overview:
As a Security Assessment Administrator at Barclays, your primary responsibility will be to coordinate security assessment activities, including service engagement and validation, availability and scheduling, engagement filing, and obtaining sign off from stakeholders. You will also work with 3rd party vendors and interface with stakeholders from technology, penetration testing, security consulting, and CISO teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders from various functions to ensure smooth execution of security assessments.
- Support queries from controls, risk, and audit related to security assessment.
- Understand business problems and bridge the gap between customer/business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Refine technical specifications to ensure project deliverables' quality and provide a positive customer experience.
- Define acceptance criteria and ensure developed features meet the definition of done.
- Work closely with delivery teams to solve problems, facilitate resolution in a timely manner, and drive continuous improvement.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate key requirements workshops with stakeholders, subject matter experts, and technical teams.
- Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for business and functional domain knowledge, working closely with the Product Owner.
- Act as a liaison among project stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate features for new functionality.
Qualifications Required:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, GoLand, etc.
- Good knowledge of cybersecurity, especially penetration testing and vulnerability management.
- In-depth knowledge of PKI/SSL/TLS, encryption, design patterns, and algorithms.
- In-depth knowledge of Authentication and Authorization Protocols: JWT/OAUTH2.
- Experience with security testing tools.
