Job Description

Role Overview: As an Application Support Analyst for the Knowledge & Information Team at the global law firm, you will be responsible for providing operational support to business users across CC offices worldwide. Your role will involve being the expert within the DevOps team for the services and tools used, maintaining service level agreements, monitoring operations tasks, and collaborating with Development Teams to resolve application issues. You will analyze end-to-end services, identify areas for improvement, and implement tools, automation, and process enhancements to increase application resiliency, aiming to minimize outages and impacts. Additionally, you will lead and execute specific activities related to application maintenance and support while engaging with various vendors. Key Responsibilities: - Solve complex/medium complexity business problems in the DevOps environment using technical knowledge - Support Change & Release Management to enhance applications in enterprise systems - Implement processes to maintain application systems in the production environment with controlled evaluation of downtime - Manage timely resolution or escalation of incidents, understanding global and local impact across teams to handle application interdependencies - Communicate the impact and solutions of application/system problems in business language - Provide and coordinate maintenance and optimization solutions to ensure business application integrity - Complete DevOps activities within Standard Level Agreements - Maintain supported applications' health in different environments - Progress change management by deploying the latest application versions in all supported environments - Liaise with onshore stakeholders and application vendors globally to ensure smooth operations - Provide third-level troubleshooting support for on-premises and cloud applications hosted on CC intranet and vendor platforms - Collaborate with other IT teams for root cause analysis and investigation - Support User Requests via I.T Ticketing Tracking system ServiceNow - Maintain standard documentation for all environments Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent degree with relevant professional experience - ITIL v3 Foundation certification preferred - Any Azure certification will be an advantage - Relevant Microsoft Certification would be an added advantage Additional Information: The global law firm, Clifford Chance, fosters an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are recognized and valued.
