Job Description
As an Android BSP Engineer specialized in Kernel and Device Drivers, your primary role will involve developing and maintaining Android BSP and kernel components for embedded platforms. Your key responsibilities will include:
Performing BSP porting, bring-up, and migration across different Android versions.
Designing and developing device drivers for Display, Audio, and Touch functionalities.
Working on Android kernel internals and subsystem-level development.
Integrating and collaborating with hypervisors such as QNX, Xen, or similar technologies.
Debugging and resolving kernel, driver, and system-level issues using advanced tools.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams for platform integration and feature development.
Optimizing system performance, latency, and resource utilization.
Ensuring stability, scalability, and reliability of embedded systems.
To excel in this role, you are required to have the following qualifications and skills:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in Android BSP, Kernel, and Embedded Systems.
Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Embedded C.
Hands-on experience in Android BSP (mandatory, not limited to Linux-only platforms).
Profound knowledge of Android OS internals, AOSP, and build systems.
Expertise in kernel development and device driver development.
Understanding of kernel subsystems such as Scheduler, USB, and peripherals.
Experience in BSP migration and version upgrades.
Exposure to hypervisors like QNX, Xen, or similar technologies.
Proficiency in tools like Git, Gerrit, GDB, Trace32, etc.
Familiarity with Qualcomm Automotive SoCs would be an added advantage.
