Job Description
As a Community Support Analytics and Insights Analyst at Airbnb, your role will involve supporting the business in delivering high-quality strategic and tactical analyses and reports for Community Support. You will leverage your functional expertise in data analysis and industry knowledge to provide key insights and findings to improve customer service. Working closely with international counterparts in Operations, Product, Engineering, and Finance, you will help inform Global Community Support data needs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Identify, build, report and analyze drivers of Operational Key Performance Indicators for the Global Community Support organization
- Undertake deep-dive analysis and provide actionable recommendations to business partners
- Create and Maintain productivity tools for management and employees, such as internal documentation, KPI dashboards, etc.
- Act as a consolidation point for all Operations CX related database needs and data integrity issues
- Investigate data quality issues reported by business analysts and find solutions/fixes
- Collaborate with data engineering and data science to investigate data issues
- Interface with data engineering to prioritize and be accountable for data needs
- Automate routine reporting to dashboards with advanced filtering and deep dive capabilities
- Establish standards for metadata/taxonomy, metrics, query, reports, and scorecards
- Provide consultation and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues
- Produce datasets and reports for analysis using databases and reporting tools
- Ad-hoc reporting and analysis to support key Customer Support initiatives
- Provide actionable data-driven recommendations to stakeholders business questions
**Qualifications Required:**
- A minimum of 4 years of overall experience
- Graduate in Economics, Business, Engineering, or other quantitative focus
- Excellent SQL skills and expertise in Microsoft Excel and various business intelligence and analytical tools
- Experience with Big Data/Analytics platforms/languages like Hive, Python, R a big plus
- Expertise with using Google Suite i.e. Google Sheets, Google Slides
- Experience with Tableau or similar BI platform to develop reports and dashboards
- Strong analytical capabilities & logic-driven mindset
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work
- Ability to work without continual guidance
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements
- Communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
