Analyst I, Cybersecurity (Vulnerability Management)

As a Vulnerability Management Operations professional at FIS, you will play a crucial role in identifying and addressing vulnerabilities to ensure the security of financial technology solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and assessing vulnerabilities and collaborating with teams to implement effective countermeasures. - Monitoring and responding to new vulnerabilities detected by internal and external scanners. - Troubleshooting, triaging, and validating scanner findings, coordinating with internal teams for resolution. - Tracking and managing remediation efforts for identified vulnerabilities. - Performing regular patching, maintenance, and system/application upkeep. - Partnering with compliance teams to meet regulatory and audit requirements. - Developing and reporting meaningful metrics to strengthen the Vulnerability Management Program. - Engaging in rapid response activities to identify potential attack surfaces vulnerable to emerging threats and zero-day exploits. To excel in this role, you should have: - Experience of 0-2 years in Vulnerability Management Operations, including tools like Rapid7, Qualys, ASV coordination, and dynamic application scanning. - Working knowledge of open-source tools like Nuclei. - Hands-on experience with Burp Suite for web application security testing and vulnerability analysis. - Strong understanding of OS platforms (Windows, RedHat, CentOS, etc.) and familiarity with network devices (Cisco, AIX, Big5, Citrix, etc.). - Basic Python and Bash scripting skills, along with working knowledge of SQL queries and PCI DSS compliance. - Operational expertise in scanning, analyzing results, manual verification, and remediation coordination. - Soft skills such as a high passion for security and innovation, strong problem-solving abilities, cross-functional collaboration skills, and excellent written and verbal communication. Additionally, certifications such as CRTP, EJPT, Security+, CEH, or other relevant certifications are preferred. You should be willing to work in a 24/5 rotational shift.
