As an Analyst in the Financial Modeling Team at AlphaSense, your role involves leveraging your technical expertise and deep understanding of user needs to maximize the platform's value across different segments and business units. Your responsibilities include building financial models, maintaining the template library using excel add-ins, and collaborating with product management and engineering teams to drive future product developments aligned with market needs. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver a world-class customer experience. - Work on custom model building for global customers to ensure top-notch customer experience. - Ensure accuracy and error-free financial models that reflect operational complexities. - Collaborate with internal teams to help clients maximize value from product offerings. - Maintain comprehensive documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and formulas used in models. - Perform rigorous testing to validate model outputs and verify formula integrity. - Modify models to adapt to changing business circumstances, regulatory changes, or new data. - Address complex financial challenges by creating innovative solutions within the modeling framework. - Use Excel to produce high-quality models and reports for clients using AlphaSense add-in. - Create and present easy-to-understand models for clients. - Assist with special projects as assigned. **Qualifications Required:** - Postgraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar field. - Professional qualification such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Financial Risk Manager (FRM). - 1-3 years of client-facing experience. - Expertise in finance and building financial models in Excel. - Knowledge of accounting concepts, financial analysis terminology, and best practices. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and other Office suite products. - Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure. - Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and presentation skills.
