Role Overview:
As a member of the finance team at AGS, your role will involve performing monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and entities. You will collaborate with the Accounts Payable and other teams to follow up on open items and maintain and reconcile intercompany schedules for designated EMEA entities. Additionally, you will assist with FX validation, intercompany netting, and other month-end tasks. During busy periods, you will support the team and contribute to audit preparation. Building strong relationships with internal departments including AP, Payroll, Treasury, and Commercial teams will be a key aspect of your role. You will also participate in financial analysis, investigations, and special projects as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations across multiple currencies and entities
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and other teams to follow up on open items
- Maintain and reconcile intercompany schedules for designated EMEA entities
- Assist with FX validation, intercompany netting, and other month-end tasks
- Support the team during busy periods and contribute to audit preparation
- Build strong relationships with internal departments including AP, Payroll, Treasury, and Commercial teams
- Participate in financial analysis, investigations, and special projects as needed
Qualifications Required:
- BA / BS degree in Business or Accounting preferred
- Actively studying or planning to study ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a dynamic finance environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Intermediate level Creating Pivot Tables, V lookups)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials (Oracle) is a plus
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and software packages
- Accountable and committed to delivering high-quality work
