Accounting & Reconciliations Specialist

As an Accounting Specialist at ThoughtSpot, you will have the opportunity to learn how various aspects of Accounting come together to produce quarterly financials. Your key responsibility will be to own the end-to-end Accounts Payable expense management process, ensuring financial accuracy, policy compliance, and process improvement. Here are the details of your role: - Manage the full lifecycle of employee expense reimbursements within Coupa, ensuring alignment with company policies and global compliance standards. - Understand accounting-related policies and implications in day-to-day tasks and activities. - Prepare reconciliations related to Accounts Payable and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Act as the primary point of contact for employees and stakeholders regarding expense inquiries and policy implications. - Undertake other general ledger accounting activities and special projects as needed. Qualifications Required: - B.Com/M.Com/MBA/pursuing CA/CWA with 2-4 years' hands-on experience in managing accounting operations, including Accounts Payable or General ledger accounting. - Proven expertise in Accounts Payable, month-end close activities, and account reconciliations, ideally with a US/Global technology or software/SaaS Company. - Excellent knowledge of financial controls and procedures, with a preference for US GAAP knowledge. - Experience with NetSuite, Coupa, and/or other Enterprise SaaS systems, along with advanced Excel skills. - Comfortable integrating artificial intelligence into daily workflow to increase productivity and quality. - Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to automate routine tasks and improve work quality.
