Ab Initio Data Engineers

As a Data Engineer at Exusia, you will have the opportunity to work with our clients to design, develop, and maintain large-scale data engineering solutions. You will be an integral part of the Industry Analytics practice and will collaborate closely with client stakeholders to capture requirements and implement solutions in areas such as Data Governance, Metadata Management, Analytical Reporting, Compliance, and Data Governance. **Key Responsibilities:** - Work with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements in the Data Analytics and Data Governance domain. - Document, discuss, and resolve business, data, and reporting issues within the team and with stakeholders. - Independently design solutions and build optimized data processing and data governance solutions using tools like Ab Initio, Pyspark, Databricks, and SAS. - Collaborate with delivery leadership to ensure projects are delivered on time while maintaining quality standards. - Discuss and document data and analytics requirements with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders. - Analyze requirements, create technical specifications, source-to-target mapping, and data models. - Manage changing priorities during the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and transform business/functional requirements into technical specifications. **Qualifications Required:** - Master of Science in Computer and Information Sciences or Business Information Technology, or an Engineering degree in related areas. - Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Management, Data Engineering, and Data Governance with hands-on experience in Ab Initio, Pyspark, Databricks, and SAS. - Strong conceptual understanding of Data Management and Data Governance principles. - Experience with various data architectures, databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Netezza), cloud-hosted data warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, Synapse, Big Query), and Azure services for Data Engineering. - Prior experience in agile software delivery model and data modeling for DWH/Data marts/Lakehouse. - Azure Certification relevant for Data Engineering/Analytics and experience in Banking and Financial Services domains. **Nice-to-Have Skills:** - Exposure to tools like Talend, Informatica, SAS for data processing. - Experience in converting data pipelines to Ab Initio from tools like Talend, Informatica, or Mainframe. - Data validation and testing using SQL or other testing methods. - Familiarity with reporting/visualization tools like PowerBI and Data Governance projects including Metadata Management, Data Dictionary, Data Glossary, Data Lineage, and Data Quality aspects.
