Job Description
As an experienced designer, you will be responsible for solving various design challenges by leveraging your expertise in interaction design, information architecture, and/or visual design. While it's uncommon to excel in all design disciplines, you should have deep skills in at least two areas and some proficiency in the third. Your role will involve structuring and deriving insights from user research, creating visual artifacts to showcase app functionality, and evaluating designs through usability testing. This includes developing annotated wireframes, visual design compositions, user flows, and prototypes to explore ideas and document the design process effectively.
Additionally, you will be expected to provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to the UX team, actively participate in user research activities, and demonstrate proficiency in structuring and interpreting usability tests. Your ability to manage project scope efficiently, balance business requirements with user needs, and ensure timely delivery within budget constraints will be crucial. Clients will rely on your leadership and expertise, and you should be comfortable engaging in client discussions, defending design choices, and managing challenging client relationships effectively.
Furthermore, your role may involve contributing to business development efforts by understanding client requirements, proposing solutions, presenting to senior stakeholders, and supporting the development of proposals. You should be adept at articulating and justifying design decisions based on branding guidelines, business objectives, user preferences, and usability considerations rather than personal preferences.
Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications Required:
- Strong understanding of interface design principles, navigation, architecture, typography, color theory, and layout principles
- Familiarity with standards-compliant web design, CSS, JavaScript libraries, and mobile app frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively with team members and senior-level clients
- Experience in consulting, adept at dealing with ambiguity and managing challenging client relationships
- Willingness to travel to client locations and collaborate with distributed delivery teams
