WordPress Front-End Developer

As a WordPress Front-End Developer at a US-based e-commerce company selling automotive parts online, your main responsibility will be to build, maintain, and improve the WordPress content site. This is a full-time, long-term contractor position where you will closely collaborate with the marketing and content team in Delhi NCR. Key Responsibilities: - Customize and maintain the WordPress theme to align with the brand design - Develop custom page templates for various content types such as vehicle hub pages, repair guides, technical articles, and blog content - Configure Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) for enabling content writers to publish pages independently - Create and optimize a significant number of content pages over time - Implement on-page SEO including meta tags, schema markup, sitemaps, and canonical tags - Ensure fast, mobile-optimized, and visually consistent pages across devices - Provide front-end troubleshooting support for the content team during new page publications Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of WordPress development experience - Proficiency in building custom WordPress themes using PHP (avoiding page builders like Elementor or Divi) - Strong front-end development skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript - Familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) - Sound knowledge of WordPress SEO tools like Yoast or Rank Math, including schema and XML sitemaps - Previous experience working on e-commerce websites - Effective English communication skills to collaborate with US-based management - Self-managed, reliable, and capable of taking ownership in a remote work setup Nice to Have: - Understanding of the automotive or auto parts industry - Experience in integrating WordPress with an existing e-commerce platform About the Company: The company is a US-based e-commerce business specializing in automotive parts.
