Web Designer and Developer

Role Overview: You will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing and functional websites that provide exceptional user experiences. Your role will involve creating responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various CMS platforms. Collaborating with marketing, content, and product teams, you will implement website features and updates while ensuring optimization for performance, accessibility, and SEO. Testing websites across different browsers and devices, maintaining existing websites, and troubleshooting issues will be part of your daily tasks. Additionally, you will create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features or redesigns to maintain brand consistency across digital platforms. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop visually appealing and functional websites - Create responsive websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and various CMS platforms - Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to implement website features and updates - Ensure optimization for performance, accessibility, and SEO - Test websites across different browsers and devices - Maintain existing websites and troubleshoot issues - Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups for new features or redesigns Qualifications Required: - Proven experience as a Web Designer and Developer with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and responsive frameworks - Knowledge of CMS platforms like WordPress, Shopify, and Webflow - Strong grasp of UI/UX principles and web accessibility standards - Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, or Sketch - Basic SEO best practices and knowledge of web analytics tools like Google Analytics - Excellent problem-solving abilities, time-management skills, attention to detail - Capacity to work independently or collaboratively Additional details: This is a full-time, permanent position with a morning shift schedule that requires in-person work.
