Wealth Management

Role Overview: You will be joining the PWM Engineering team to support Private Wealth Management clients in pursuing their wealth management goals through careful advice and astute investment management. Your role will be pivotal in building tools and applications necessary to effectively manage and support client requirements across various stages of the user experience, including onboarding, trading, reporting, and providing online portfolio access via native iOS and Android apps. Additionally, you will contribute to developing applications to assist Business and Operations users in managing risk and delivering exceptional service to clients. Key Responsibilities: - Propose, design, and implement software solutions to enhance services and introduce new business functions. - Participate in hands-on development, architecture and design discussions, and design reviews. - Collaborate with engineering teams to develop data feeds, APIs, and processing pipelines. - Engage with the global user group to support and enhance applications as per new requirements. - Analyze and convert business requirements into technical specifications by understanding business workflows. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Java & J2EE frameworks. - Proficiency in object-oriented skills and frameworks, with experience in producing scalable software designs. - Familiarity with Spring, REST services, JMS, Hibernate/JPA, and JSON. - Experience with SQL-based databases like Sybase or MemSQL. - Exposure to designing/delivering messaging-based solutions, such as Kafka. - Knowledge of cloud migration, designing native cloud applications (preferably AWS), and CI/CD tools. - Strong sense of ownership, focus on quality, responsiveness, efficiency, and innovation. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a global team environment. - Advanced problem-solving skills and the capability to address real-world business issues. Additional Company Details: The team is currently enhancing the platform to meet new business requirements and increase stability and scalability to support a growing business. The platform is expected to manage high volumes of requests with varying time sensitivities and prioritize across multiple tenants via an event-based framework. The Data Distribution team supports PWM's Quantum data distribution platform, serving as the primary data source for Client Holdings, Transactions, Taxlots, and reference data in PWM.
