Job Description
As a Lead Treasury Analyst at Wells Fargo, you will play a crucial role in providing expert consultation to finance, accounting, and Business Line management regarding corporate treasury and related financial management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Monitoring and evaluating global market conditions, funding requirements, asset and liability management, liquidity risk management, capital management, financial performance management, and related activities.
- Offering overall advisory on treasury finance and risk strategies.
- Ensuring data quality and establishing controlled processes.
- Leading targeted projects and providing guidance to other team members.
- Collaborating with Internal Audit, Corporate Risk Management, Model Governance teams, regulatory agencies, accounting firms, and consulting firms.
- Making recommendations to senior team members and management.
- Consulting with peers, colleagues, and managers to address issues and achieve objectives.
- Interacting with internal customers.
- Receiving guidance from leaders and exercising independent judgment to comprehend function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Qualifications Required:
- 5+ years of Treasury experience, or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education.
Desired Qualifications:
- Qualified CA/ACCA/CWA/FRM/CFA or MBA from a reputed institution.
- Knowledge of new age automation tools such as SQL, Power Bi, Alteryx, Python, or Power Bi is advantageous.
- Experience in Stress Testing, Liquidity risk monitoring, LCR, NSFR, and Interest rate risk.
- Experience in conducting Internal audits/Control testing, preparing materials, and leading Stakeholders meetings like ALCO.
- Experience in managing SOX audits.
You are expected to act as a Lead Consultant to Treasury, accounting, and Business Line management on matters related to corporate treasury and related financial management. Additionally, you will be responsible for:
- Reviewing funding, cash, liquidity, treasury, Stress testing, Interest rate risk in Banking book, ALM.
- Ensuring data quality and establishing controlled processes.
- Collaborating with various teams and external parties to achieve common goals.
- Driving transformation through knowledge about new age tools.
