Job Description
As a UX/UI Designer at the company, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing products and experiences
- Analyzing business requirements and proposing UX/UI solutions to optimize conversion rates and user experiences
- Designing and optimizing the Loyalty App experience, promotions/offers, and multi-channel user journeys (App, Web, QR, Mini App)
- Ensuring UI design usability, brand consistency, and scalability
- Building user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and UI handoff for Engineering
- Collaborating with Product & Tech teams to ensure feasible design, adherence to sprint timelines, and minimizing friction
- Conducting Research & Data analysis for UX improvements
- Utilizing tools like GA4/AppFlyers to understand and analyze conversion funnels
- Coordinating with IT for tracking event validation and ensuring data accuracy
- Collecting and synthesizing customer feedback from reviews, CS tickets, and in-store feedback to prioritize changes
- Performing regular User Testing for critical flows like checkout/payment, applying vouchers, and loyalty redemptions
- Proposing UX improvement backlogs based on impact and effort, supported by data and user insights
- Recommending Backend/Technical enhancements to optimize user experience
- Collaborating with IT/Digital teams to identify issues, propose improvements, and evaluate effectiveness post-implementation
- Developing and maintaining a unified Design System for The Coffee House Mobile App and Golden Spoon App
- Standardizing component libraries, tokens (colors, typography, spacing), grid, and responsive behavior for faster development and consistency
- Conducting periodic UI audits to detect deviations and propose adjustment plans
- Ensuring designs align with the brand and are consistent with The Coffee House & Golden Spoon App
- Prioritizing readability and quick decision-making, especially for menus with multiple options
- Adhering to accessibility standards (WCAG) and compatibility with various user groups
- Designing clear, understandable content to support quick task completion
- Actively implementing new UX patterns (personalization, contextual, conversational) when appropriate
- Working in an agile environment with Product/Engineering teams through sprint planning, grooming, review, and retrospectives
- Presenting design proposals logically with a focus on problem-solving, insights, solutions, and expected impacts
- Collaborating with CRM/Digital teams to ensure UI supports growth mechanisms without causing discomfort
- Engaging with Ops/Store teams to understand operational constraints and ensure online experience matches in-store reality
- Performing design QA post-release to identify UI/UX issues, missing tracking, or performance regressions
- Staying updated on trends and continuously improving processes based on collected errors, priorities, testing, effectiveness measurement, and guideline updates
Qualifications required for this role include:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Communication Design, Information Technology, or related fields
- Preferred candidates with UX/Product Design certifications from courses like Google UX, Coursera, Interaction Design Foundation, etc.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer for digital products
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing design thinking process, problem framing, experimentation, and impact on business metrics
- Experience in retail, F&B, or e-commerce industries is advantageous
- Strong communication skills in English
- Proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, design system, and developer handoff
- Ability to analyze conversion funnels using GA4 and equivalent analytics tools
- Understanding of technical reports related to user experience: page speed, Core Web Vitals, crash rate, API latency
- Capability to propose UX/UI improvements linked to optimizing backend/technical flow
- Experience in conducting usability testing and A/B testing
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for this role include:
- Conversion rate % measured by the conversion funnel from customer entering the App to completing an order
