Job Description
As a User Experience Designer at Thales, your work will involve helping companies in building trusted identities and access for their employees and customers. You will play a crucial role in designing experiences that meet user needs and business objectives by collaborating with design teammates, UX leaders, business, product, and engineering stakeholders.
Key Areas Of Responsibility:
- Demonstrated experience as a UX Designer utilizing methods such as Storytelling, Team Collaboration, user-centered design, design thinking, design principles, design testing, and iterative design.
- Ability to translate abstract ideas into tangible representations at the appropriate fidelity level (sketches, journey maps, wireframes, high fidelity visual comps, and prototypes) for user feedback and product team alignment.
- Proficiency in creating adaptive and responsive product designs for mobile, tablet, and desktop experiences as a mobile-first designer.
- Leading cross-functional collaborations within the product team to generate innovative user experiences and intellectual capital with positive market outcomes.
- Utilizing storytelling to align the product team towards a shared product vision and coaching them in design discovery, design vision, and design delivery processes.
- Collaborating with user research to gather and synthesize data into actionable insights that drive user outcomes.
- Engaging in design debates and iterating designs based on feedback.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduated with a Master's in Design, Product Design, Interaction/Experience Design.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to tackle complex problems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with users, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced software development environment.
- Familiarity with AI-powered design and development tools for increased efficiency and velocity.
- Possess an online portfolio showcasing user-centered design expertise, visualizations of complex experiences, storytelling, sketches, mock-ups, and prototypes.
