Job Description
You will be working for a global captive organization in the insurance domain, where you will be responsible for UI/UX design. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities:
- Conceptualize and design creative solutions aligned with brand standards while introducing new visual experiences based on user research and business goals.
- Develop modern designs for products and websites, evolving current designs and components to the next generation of design and experience, prioritizing accessibility standards and responsive design.
- Collaborate with the Digital Experience team and participate in the design review process.
- Translate vague thoughts and ideas into impactful experiences.
- Create and maintain digital design systems that can be shared with internal teams, agencies, designers, and development teams using tools like Figma.
- Produce low and high-fidelity designs and click-through prototypes for user testing across different viewports.
- Effectively communicate and present ideas and design rationale following UX/UI best practices to the project team and stakeholders. Modify designs based on feedback, research, and insights.
- Generate user flows as requested for new experiences.
- Define UX requirements to guide developers and work within an agile project team.
- Keep up to date with digital trends, tools, and best practices.
As a UI/UX Designer, you should possess the following competencies:
- Advanced UI Design and Interaction Design: Demonstrate an advanced understanding of visual design and interaction principles, creating polished, high-fidelity designs and interactions using tools like Sketch, Figma, Photoshop, and Adobe XD.
- User Research and Analysis: Conduct comprehensive user research to inform design decisions, including user interviews, surveys, and persona development.
- Usability Testing and Feedback Iteration: Independently plan and execute usability testing sessions, analyze results, and iterate on designs based on user feedback.
- Prototyping and Interactive Design: Create interactive prototypes that simulate the user experience using tools like InVision, Marvel, & Figma.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with product managers, developers, and business stakeholders to ensure designs meet user needs and business goals.
You should meet the following education and experience requirements:
- Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience with a degree in HCI, art, design, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- Proficient in digital concept development, UX storyboarding, ideation, prototyping, responsive design, and creation using various tools and testing methods.
- Expertise in using Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, and other similar tools.
- Demonstrated experience in creating design systems, rapid prototyping, and building high-fidelity interactive prototypes for research.
