Job Summary
The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving sales of industrial automation solutions by
combining technical expertise with strong sales skills. The role involves understanding
customer requirements, proposing customized automation solutions, and achieving sales
targets while building long-term client relationships.

Education - Bachelors degree in Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical /
Mechatronics Engineering
MBA (Sales/Marketing) preferred
Industry: Industrial Automation
Key Responsibilities -
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial automation
Manage and grow key customer accounts across manufacturing sectors
Understand customer processes and recommend suitable automation solutions
Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals
Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations
Coordinate with engineering and application teams for solution design
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and project timelines
Achieve assigned sales targets and revenue goals
Track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback
Provide after-sales technical support coordination and customer follow-up
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong knowledge of industrial automation products and systems
(PLCs, SCADA, HMI, Drives, Motors, Sensors, Robotics)
Excellent technical sales and solution-selling skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Experience in key account management and channel partner handling
Good understanding of industrial segments (automotive, FMCG, pharma, etc.)
CRM usage and sales forecasting skills
Willingness to travel extensively
