Job Description
Role Overview:
As a UI/UX Lead, you will lead and manage the user experience design process within the company. You will ensure that products, services, or digital experiences are intuitive, user-friendly, and meet the needs and expectations of the target audience. You will bridge the gap between users, design teams, and stakeholders to deliver intuitive and impactful digital solutions. You will be responsible for all UI/UX deliveries of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with stakeholders, such as product managers and executives, to define the overall UX strategy and goals of a project or product.
- Managing and mentoring a team of UX Designers, Researchers, and other specialists involved in the user experience design process.
- Conducting user research activities, to gather insights about user needs, behaviours, and preferences.
- Guiding the creation of wireframes, prototypes, and interaction patterns that outline the behaviour and flow of a digital product or service.
- Overseeing the visual design process to ensure that the user interface (UI) aligns with the overall user experience goals and brand guidelines.
- Conducting usability evaluations and heuristic reviews to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of a products user interface and proposing improvements based on the findings.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure that the user experience design aligns with business goals and technical constraints.
- Documenting and reporting the project management, tasks and workflows for all design projects.
- Developing and utilizing frameworks and style guides for all designs projects.
Qualifications Required:
- 8+ years of experience and proven track record
- Strong portfolio to be presented and defended during interview.
- Experience or ability to work with clients to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet client needs and vision.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions
- Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and clients.
- Ability to lead junior and senior designers, providing guidance, and fostering collaboration.
- Highly creative with a problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent visual skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle & lead projects with minimal supervision
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Be passionate about all things UX and other areas of design and innovation.
